"I was a 'Guest of Honour' three years ago when the then Ambassador of Belarus, Mr. Uladzimir Shchasny received memorabilia concerning the Princes Sviatopolk-Mirsky Dynasty from whom I am proud to descend. My great-grandfather, Prince Nicolai Ivanovitch Sviatopolk-Mirski, lived in one of the towers of the castle. My maternal grand-uncle, Prince Michail Nicolaevitch Sviatopolk-Mirski was the last owner of Mir Castle.

Here is a picture of me standing in front of Mir Castle. I am wearing the blue-grey jacket. You will see me better in the second picture where I am standing on the right end (as you are looking at the photo); Mr. Shchasny is standing next to me, with his friends."
